George Addo’s extensive work over the years has garnered recognition from the industry and esteemed figures. His exceptional skill in documenting compelling stories earned him the prestigious “Best at Promoting the Ghana Premier League” award, presented by the then-sponsors First Capital Bank in 2014 and 2015. This honor was bestowed upon the two best journalists in the country at the time.
George’s exceptional work in narrating African stories led to his nomination for the prestigious PAV Ansah Communication Awards by the Emy Africa panel three consecutive years, showcasing his remarkable talent.
Acknowledged for his prowess and extensive commentary work, including the high-profile Wembley final between England and Italy, George was named “English Commentator of the Year” three times consecutively from 2018 to 2020 by the National and Regional Awards Scheme.
Furthermore, George has received numerous accolades, including Radio Personality Awards for Sports Presenter of the Year and Radio Sports Show Host of the Year, recognizing his exceptional contributions to the field.
Aside from these honors, George has received special recognition from the Bundesliga International for his exceptional contribution to African service. Recently, he received massive endorsements from African football legends Emmanuel Adebayor, Seb Bassong, and Basile Bolie for his outstanding work at the last AFCON tournament.
